The Ministry’s work for children runs along a continuum — nutrition and early childhood care through the Anganwadi system, and protection for children in need of care through Mission Vatsalya.
Mission Saksham Anganwadi & POSHAN 2.0 provides supplementary nutrition and early childhood care and education for children under six, pregnant women and lactating mothers, and adolescent girls, delivered through Anganwadi Centres.
